  • Confirm for updated drawings, RFI's, plans & specs

  • Confirm fire caulk is used to seal gaps at concrete substrate only

  • Confirm mineral wool and fire spray is to be used to seal gaps at metal/steel penetrations

  • Confirm surrounding finishes are protected

  • Confirm fire taping is completed and mineral wool inspection done

  • Confirm wet fire spray material is inspected to 1/8" thickness

  • Confirm proper substrate overlap per manufacturer's requirements

  • Confirm no pinholes are visible in the spray

  • Confirm proper information and location of sticker on wall

  • Confirm exposed ceiling areas have acceptable finish to receive spray

  • Confirm cleanup of our cartons and scrap materials

  • Inspect and walk the site with G.C. Superintendent

Head of Wall Insulation Prior to Spray

  • Confirm for updated drawings, RFI's, plans & specs

  • Confirm mineral wool and spray, per approved submittals, are on site

  • Confirm drywall is down from substrate 1" or per manufacturer's requirements if different

  • Confirm speed plugs are installed in flutes above top track and speed strips installed above drywall below speed plug and below valley of flute at proper compression per manufacturer's requirements

  • Confirm mineral wool at beam is packed tight around beams and flush with drywall per manufacturer's requirements

  • Confirm there are no gaps between compressed speed plug and decking

  • Confirm there are no gaps between the ends of speed strips in all areas

  • Confirm fire taping is complete prior to spray application

  • Confirm drywall screw inspection was done

  • Confirm mineral wool has been inspected prior to spray

  • Confirm fire taping is complete prior to fire spray application

  • Confirm cleanup of our cartons and scrap materials
