Installation

  • 1. Correct fixings used 5.5x150/175mm - install to SFS

  • 2. Correct fixing used CSF 180mm - install to Concrete

  • 3. Fixing the Ancon Channel thorough small holes (5,3mm) into Steel or Timber

  • 4. Fixing the Ancon Channel thorough large holes (9.5mm) using CFS Screws into Concrete

  • 5. CFS Fixings used in combination with Ancon Compression Sleeves – same length as the insulation

  • 6. Concrete fixing – minimum embedment 50mm, min. hole depth 60mm<br>A small impact driver to be used - 150Nm torque

  • 7. Vertical screw spacing 225mm

  • 12. Work area left clean and tidy

  • Insulation installed with the patterned side facing outwards

  • Insulation staggered in accordance with good fixing practice

  • Joints closely butted to optimise the insulation performance

  • Insulation tightly fitted around wall brackets where these occur

  • Insulation fixed using the manufacturer typical fixing pattern and 1no stainless steel fixing with washer fixed on the centre of each insulation slab
