Practice Profitability

Are all EDI claims submitted on time and accurately?

Is agency spend controlled?

Is agency spend reviewed against purchase orders to ensure billing is correct?

Is there an adequate FT/PT nurse mix?

Does the practice have dual trained team members?

Is there a nurse recruitment drive within the practise?

Are there any area support nurses?

Is the PM using existing team members to fill agency gaps e.g. part-timers working more, other local practises?

Are agreed allowances above PSR still relevant?

Is recruitment forecasted in advance to avoid known agency spend?

Rate the quality of the ideal rota template to achieve PSR of 1.8 0-10

Is there a culture of cost saving e.g. waste bags filled full, lights turned off, postage reduced?

Is the PM taking a holistic view and contacting other practises to assist with their needs?
