Circuit Breaker Inspection

    Circuit Breaker Inspection - Pre-Energizations
  • Circuit Breaker ID

  • Circuit Breaker is as per OEM Drawings (part number, rating & Assembly location)

  • Take Photos to capture Manufacturer, Serial Number, Ratings (a), (kA), System Voltage

Visual & Operational Inspection

  • Circuit Breaker Labelled

  • All bolts tighten and witness marked (Line and Load side)

  • Turn the Circuit Breaker OFF

  • Pass Result: Continuity to be Open Circuit

  • Perform Continuity Test Line Side to Load Side A phase

  • Perform Continuity Test Line Side to Load Side B phase

  • Perform Continuity Test Line Side to Load Side C phase

  • Test All Phases to Earth

  • Take (1) Witness Photo

  • Turn the Circuit Breaker ON

  • Pass Result: Continuity to be closed circuit

  • Perform Continuity Test Line Side to Load Side A phase

  • Perform Continuity Test Line Side to Load Side B phase

  • Perform Continuity Test Line Side to Load Side C phase

  • Take (1) Witness Photo

  • Installations are IP2X Rating

  • Circuit Breaker handle Functional.

  • Earthing straps installed to door and pan

  • Cubical Clean and Vacuumed

  • Photo(s) of Completed Visual Inspection

  • Trip Unit "Tripped" Press the "Push to Trip Button"- Continuity Test (point to point) PLC

  • Core labels are as per OEM Drawings

  • Mark Up/Highlight As Builds and Take a Photo
