FIT SALOON DOORS

FIT SALOON SEATS

  • All seats are secure and tightened to the torque specified in the SOP including wheelarch seats (Volgren fitment only) - 32Nm

INSTALL MODESTY PANELS

  • All Modesty Panels installed & in correct locations

FIT ROOF HATCH RUBBER

  • Roof hatch rubber has been fitted using hot water

  • Rubber join is neat

HANDRAILS

  • Duct rail infill is fitted

  • Seat to Ceiling handrails fitted correctly to drawing

  • Clamps are tightened and rattle-free

  • Correct quantities of grab handles are installed

  • Seat clamps are riveted

  • All vertical poles are straight

  • Return air grill does not hit crossbar

FIT A/C DUCTS

  • Duct gaps are even

  • Front duct clears FutureBus plastic by 2mm

DRIP GUTTER

MIRRORS

DOOR BRUSHES

  • Sharp edges have been removed

FIT FRONT ACCESS PANEL

  • Latches operate correctly

  • Rubber stoppers have been fitted

SEALING BUS

  • No ingress of smoke through front during smoke test

  • All sealing is complete

  • Excess Sika Flex has been removed

MUDFLAPS

  • Mudflaps fitted, level and secured

CARRIAGE KEY

  • Carriage key is fitted when specified

UNDERBODY INSPECTION

  • All nuts are fastened on to seat bolts, including drivers seat & ironing boards

  • Chassis number clean and legible and painted yellow

  • Front bumper support brackets are fitted and touch bumper

  • Wheel arch nuts are fitted

  • Seat & staunchion bolts are sealed (except on BBC builds)

  • Tow pin is fitted, secured with cable tie and not sitting on the bumper

  • Seat bolt above air tank has nut fitted

  • Corrosion protection on electric terminals

  • Footrest and driver's bag storage screws are sealed

ADR SPECIFIC CHECKS

  • Driver's seat is secured using Grade 10.9 bolts

  • Driver's seat fastening nuts have been marked as having the correct torque applied

  • All emergency exit door buttons are operational

  • All seat to ceiling poles have a bell push fitted

  • No seat has less than 660mm clearance forward of the seat squab to any modesty panel, for any point above the seat cushion to 610mm above the floor

  • All other vertical stanchions have bell pushes as per supplied handrail layout

  • ADR 44 – Rear door validator allow a corridor clearance of 550 mm.
