  • Weekly GMP audit is a 'REALITY' snapshot audit to show that site standards (Section 4 under BRC) are correctly implemented and followed. The main focus of this audit is to check if each area meets its housekeeping & hygiene standards but the audit is not only limited to those areas. Any critical or major issues which can affect SHOTT's food safety & quality standard will be escalated immediately and appropriate actions will be taken.

Inwards area

  • Pick one ingredient in the Inward goods area. Record code & batch #

  • Personnel - correct uniform & good degree of personal hygiene?

  • For rubbish on the ground when operating, score Good - if you find less than 5 small bits on the ground / Fair - if you find 5 - 7 small bits (e.g., small broken wooden pallets) or 1 - 2 sizeable rubbish (e.g., chunks of pallet wrap) on the ground / Poor - if you find more than 7 small bits or more than 2 sizeable rubbish on the ground or you find any broken wooden pallets on top of the raw material bags.
