Work your way through the questionnaire answering safe or at risk, depending on the result. Once complete, export the report to your email, then file.

Security

  • Remind all team who open and close on the following -two team members must open/ close store. They must check area around door to ensure nobody is loitering. They must check area is well lit.<br>

  • Check that all appropriate team have completed the armed hold up/ conflict training.<br>

  • Check that all armed hold up signage is on display.<br>

Building Structure Check

  • Complete a full walk of building looking for any possible structural damage, contact property and H&S if anything is noted.<br>

Visitors

  • Check any visitors/ contractors on site to ensure they have signed in and are wearing a visitor sticker. <br>

  • If not signed in show them the visitors book and explain our H&S policy and store hazards.<br>

  • Check that any visitors are wearing appropriate footwear. (closed toe shoes).<br>

Stress of Team

  • Check for signs of team member(s) displaying unusual behaviours such as irritability, indecisive, depressed, mood swings, poor understanding of instructions, Increase sick leave, confusion.<br>

Coping with Stress

  • Management can help as far as practicable by, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, team are trained and have the skills needed for role, ensuring any targets/ deadlines are realistic, providing support and don't allow high pressure situations to continue. Team can help by, recognise pressure are more than should be and monitor hours of work, be aware of non work stress. <br>

Company Vehicle

  • Check company vehicle for current rego and warrant, check tyres are not bold, check for damage to car/ windscreen.<br>

Building Warrant of Fitness Check

  • Check to ensure that the daily weekly building warrant of fitness checks have been completed.<br>

Emergency Awareness Check

  • Check Head Fire Warden Vest and board is available.<br>

  • Does the store have an emergency evacuation scheme in place?<br>

  • Check an evacuation has been held in the last 6 months and have those who didn't complete correctly been re-trained.<br>

  • Are Senior management team aware of any serious medical issues with team. e.g.: medic alert.<br>

Refits

  • Management aware to contact H&S prior to refit for information and rules around refit.<br>

Pulse

  • Check that that all incidents recorded in incident book have been entered into Pulse and investigations have been completed.<br>

Contractor Check

  • Check building maintenance authority and permit to work books to ensure they have been completed correctly.<br>

Safety Meetings

  • Check that Site Safety Meetings have been completed and documented every month?<br>

Training Records

  • Check all management team training records including hazard matrix and modules including customer complaint, significant hazard module, conflict training, armed hold up training. To ensure they are up to date.<br>

Store Design

  • Has there been any major changes to the store, any issues arising must be sent to property.<br>
