  • Are the Managers in the office upon arrival (i.e. not in sight)?

  • Does the MOD know the trainee and trainer names?

  • Is trainee(s) on the clock?

  • What position is trainee training for?

  • Is manager utilizing Papa Gallo list (either paper or on R365)? Ask

  • Is manager utilizing Papa Gallo list? Ask management for list and review. They should be completing during the shift, not at end of shift.

  • Is the trainee with their trainer?

  • Are trainer and trainee working closely alongside one another throughout

  • Is training packet/training tablet being utilized during that shift?

  • Is trainer consistently communicating with trainee?

  • Is trainer using Socratic Method?(Trainer asks questions to get a pulse of trainee)

  • Is trainer exhibiting company non-negotiables? (caring, sense of urgency, positive, team player, sense of ownership)?

  • Does the MOD have a schedule denoting trainer's upcoming training shifts? (Trainers should not be blind-sided of training shifts) *To verify, ask the Trainer if the schedule on Restaurant 365 shows their training shifts?

  • Are trainer and trainee dressed according to uniform standard? (Refer to trainee's packet)

  • Does Restaurant 365 show that the Trainer is schedule to train?
