  • Moving parts of hoist and its load have a minimum 600mm clearance to any fixed structure or other moving equipment.

  • Hoist Safe Operation Area is clearly marked on floor

  • Electrical Isolation Switch (labelled & lockable)

  • Safety Mechanism(s) fitted and working correctly e.g., lock on 2-post swing arms

  • Vehicle hoist- 600mm (minimum) clearance between moving parts of hoist and any fixed structure or any other moving equipment.

  • Dropped bar (safety prop) fitted to in-ground hydraulic ram type hoist which prevents hoist lowering to less than 760mm.

  • Pre-operation safety checklist is displayed

  • Monthly Operation Checklist is displayed

  • Maintenance records maintained and confirmed that 10 yearly major assessment is not over-due (if second-hand hoist)

  • I acknowledge that I have confirmed all items above and that this hoist meets the minimum Toyota Training Centre Standards.
