Has a risk assessment and method statement been prepared

What means of access is to be used and by whom

Is area prepared for this element and all builders work complete

Have contact surfaces to the structural steelwork been treated

Have samples been received and approved

Check setting out positions for roof sheeting and for vertical cladding

Have primary fixings and sheeting bolts been fitted to the correct centres

Has insulation been fitted

Has the vapour control barrier been fitted correctly and without damage. Are joint laps sealed

Check that the end laps and edge laps are sealed as work proceeds

Check that rain water box section gutters are correctly jointed and internal surfaces are insulated

Check fixing of flashings, upstands, cappings and filler pieces

Check work quality around all roof lights, vents, upstands and S &V Pipes

Have lightning tapes and conductors been correctly installed

Check that self adhesive filler sections are fitted to: ridge cappings, eaves and at base of vertical sheeting

Check all sheeting for damage

Have work areas been left clean and tidy
