Inside Inspection

  • What type of fans are there?

  • Is there dMEVs in all wet rooms? Wet rooms: Bathroom, Kitchen, Ensuite, WC with a sink and a Utility room with a sink. Please ensure each fan is 1) Continuous 2) Has a fan isolator switch 3) Has a boost switch (Take photos of all the extractor fans and isolators and annotate the photo with the room name)

  • Is there a fan in all wet rooms? Wet rooms: Bathroom, Kitchen, Ensuite, WC with a sink and a Utility room with a sink. Please ensure if fans are new, that each fan has a fan isolator switch. (Take photos of all the extractor fans and isolators and annotate the photo with the room name)

  • Do all habitable door undercuts have at least 10mm clearance? (Take photos of every habitable door and annotate it)

  • Have you checked above the boiler for the integrity of the boiler flue? (photo required)

  • Is there a gas or electric fire in any of the rooms? (Photo Required)

  • Is there a Core Vent? (Photo Required)

  • Take a photo of the wall thickness (from the door or window if door chamfered)

  • Customer Question: Is everything working correctly? Eg TV, Lights, Sockets, Taps, Guttering

  • Is there background ventilation in all habitable rooms? (photos required) Background ventilation: Window Trickle Vents or Wall Vents (annotate each room)

Outside Inspection

  • Do the outside Background Vents relate to the Inside Vents? (Please take photos and annotate)

  • Please take elevation photos of the home (around 4-8 photos)

  • Is there sufficient jacks supporting the chassis and are they in good condition (photos required) 8 for a single, 16 for a double

  • Is there adequate ventilation under the park home? (1 air brick/vent on each short end, 2 air bricks/vents on each long end) (Photos Required)

  • Is there a 6m minimum difference between park homes

  • Has cross flow ventilation been installed into the apex?

  • Is the extractor fan ducting attached to the outside vent cover with no gaps?

  • Are there 3 clips on all guttering down pipes and is the guttering connected securely all the way around? (photos required)

  • Have you ensured there are no gaps in the insulated system? For example, under the apex in the corner or cracks around windows etc

  • Have all exterior walls been insulated? (Basically any wall that keeps the inside of the home warm needs to have insulation on it on the outside) *Please take photos of all elevations*

  • Are any outside pipes/water taps secured correctly and are they lagged? (photos required)

  • Has the soffit line been siliconed?

  • Has everything been siliconed where necessary? (Lights, Vent Covers, Under the Base Rail Corners, Under Window Sills, Gateposts, Water Taps, Door Numbers, Gallow Brackets)

  • Please list the areas that haven't been siliconed (with photos)

  • Is there uPVC Trim on Both Corners of Bay Windows or Chamfered Doors?

  • Do the window sills extend 40mm from the External Wall?

  • Above Bay Windows has a Base Rail been fitted?

  • How is the finish of the Park Home?
