PEST AND WEED INSPECTION CHECKLIST

Are all equipment, machinery, and vehicles being washed and cleaned in accordance with the procedures?

Are all weed and seed declarations completed, current and readily available?

Have any property, area specific weed hygiene protocols been clearly communicated to project staff (e.g. signage)?

Are sufficient washdown facilities established to ensure efficient and effective compliance with weed hygiene requirements?

Are there noxious or environmental weeds / declared plants within the ROW that need to be controlled, treated and removed either physically, chemically or biologically?

If chemical treatment is being used, have chemical applications been undertaken by a licensed operator (e.g. Commercial Operator License?)

Have records of chemical application been completed?

Are topsoil stockpiles in a known weed area being retained and not transported between sites?

Are loads containing declared weeds secure and covered?

Is any item or materials (mulch, soil, machinery, equipment etc) being delivered to site certified clean and contain appropriate documentation?

Are project activities and waste being managed to avoid attracting pest animals or vermin?
