PASMA Tower Inspection

• Height of tower

• Is there a copy of the manufactures instruction manual available and easily read

• Do you have a risk assessment for PASMA towers

• The environment is safe to erect the tower

• The castors or base plates are in full contact with the ground and sharing the weight of the tower

• All brakes are applied

• The adjustable legs are only used to level and not to gain height

• The tower is level in all planes

• Built on firm and stable ground

• Stabilisers are fitted and are correct size for tower height

• Feet are in full contact with the ground and secured

• The stabilisers are positioned so that they form a square

• The bracing pattern used is in accordance with the manufactures instruction manual

• All hooks on the braces are fully engaged

• Handrails and mid guard rails are fitted and in correct position

• Interlocking device, locking frames together are all wmgaged

• Platforms are in correct position

• Trap doors open to the outboard side of the tower

• If single width do all platforms have trap doors

• If wind locks fitted they are engaged

• Toe boards fitted working platforms

• If the tower is tied in it has been checked against the manufactures instruction manual

• Take a photo of the completed tower
