1 Maintenance Control Manual

  • 1.1 Does the organization have a Maintenance Control Manual (MCM)?

  • 1.1.1 Is the MCM approved/accepted by the DCA?

  • 1.1.2 Is the MCM a controlled document?

  • 1.1.3 Is the MCM current and up to date?

  • 1.1.4 Is there a distribution list published for the MCM?

  • 1.1.5 Is the MCM used/followed by relevant sections?

  • 1.1.6 Is the person responsible for the aircraft (PRA) maintenance detailed/indicated in the MCM?

  • 1.1.7 Does the MCM contain a or refer to quality assurance system?

Maintenance Oversight

  • 2.1 Does the Person Responsible: Aircraft (PRA) monitor the daily serviceability status of each aircraft on a daily basis?

  • 2.1.1 Does the PRA monitor the scheduled maintenance of each aircraft and report on which inspections becomes due?

  • 2.1.2 Does the PRA remove an aircraft form flight status and book it in when scheduled maintenance is due?

  • 2.1.3 Does the PRA monitor each aircraft's Certificate of Airworthiness, Mass & Balance, Release to Service, Insurance, copies of all required onboard documents?

  • 2.2 Are the rectification of all defects monitored by the PRA?

  • 2.3 In the event of defects being deferred, are they deferred according to a MEL and tracked by the PRA until repaired?
